Does East London Tech City need an army of stay-at-home mums? – WITsend.

I think stay at home mums can play an important role in the Startup community especially in London Silicon Roundabout / Tech City.

Apart from creating startups themselves (there are 100s of stories of successful websites & businesses launched by this group) they have a vast array of skills that can greatly benefit startups.

Startups would be attracted if these skills are offered at a slightly lower cost in lieu of the remote location & flexible working hours moms need.

Again in today’s work environment location & working hours don’t matter that much anyway.

Possibly a good idea for a website – ‘Stay at home mom work marketplace’. Royalties will be most appreciated
